1. Scope & Roles
This Privacy Policy explains how Bubbling Pot LLP ("SmartFinBox", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the Platform. For personal data we decide the purposes/means of processing, we act as a Data Fiduciary; for certain services, we may act as a Data Processor for our lending partners.
2. What We Collect
Depending on your interaction, we may collect: Identity & Contact (name, mobile number/OTP, email, address, PAN where provided, DOB, gender); Application Details (loan amount sought, employment type, income range, pincode/city/state); KYC & Financial (if shared/redirected to partners); Device/Usage (IP, device identifiers, cookies/SDKs, browser/app data, pages/screens viewed); Communications & preferences (consents, opt‑ins/opt‑outs, chat/call/email interactions).
3. How We Use Your Data
To operate the Platform and provide discovery, matching, and referral to lenders; to share your data with lending partners and service providers (KYC, analytics, communications, cloud hosting) to evaluate/process your request; to contact you about eligibility, offers, status updates, support, and—if opted in—marketing via SMS/WhatsApp/RCS/email/calls; to improve security/fraud prevention and analytics; and to comply with legal obligations.
4. Lawful Bases / Consent
Where required, we obtain consent (including granular consent for marketing). You may withdraw consent anytime via provided controls or by contacting the Grievance Officer; this will not affect prior lawful processing. We may also process personal data as necessary for providing services requested by you, to prevent fraud, or to comply with applicable law.
5. Sharing & Recipients
We may share personal data with: lending partners (banks/NBFCs/FinTechs); service providers under contract (cloud/hosting, analytics, communications, customer support, verification/KYC, CRM); affiliates within Bubbling Pot LLP group; authorities when required by law or to protect rights. We do not sell personal data.
6. Credit Information
Credit bureau pulls (if any) are performed by lenders/partners based on your separate consent. Where SmartFinBox facilitates a consent screen for bureau access, we will clearly display the purpose and duration and record such consent.
7. International Transfers
Our service providers may be located outside India. Where applicable, we ensure transfers are made in accordance with applicable law and with reasonable security safeguards.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes stated above or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it using commercially reasonable measures.
9. Cookies, Pixels & SDKs
We use cookies/SDKs for essential functions (authentication, security), analytics (e.g., GA4), and marketing/attribution (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, AppsFlyer). You can manage preferences via your browser/app settings and provided opt‑out links.
10. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, updating, erasure, portability (where available), withdraw consent, and register grievances. We may verify your identity before acting on requests. Rights requests are typically resolved within 30 days.
11. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, logging, backups, secure development practices) to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
Our services are not for minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn a minor has provided data, we will delete it and may disable access.
13. Marketing Communications
Where you opt in, we may send marketing via SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, email, and calls. You can opt‑out at any time by using the unsubscribe link/keyword (e.g., ‘STOP’) or contacting us.
